Cut Culture: July 4th BBQ
WAZER’s employees, much like its users, are a bunch of proud DIYers. To quench our own thirst for creativity, an internal program called WAZER Cut Culture was created years ago with the intended purpose of fostering an environment where people are encouraged to think outside the box and use the WAZER in innovative new ways. After 2 years of running the program with no end in sight, our employees have completed more than 50 projects collectively, even with the long pause that spanned most of 2020!
This one of a kind program allows employees to use their resources to the fullest extent, with WAZER subsidizing any personal project that includes one WAZER cut part, granting unlimited access to our in-house fabrication shop after hours, and company conducted seminars regarding a multitude of creation topics. With so many resident expert makers and in-house resources, it’s almost harder not to complete a project!
On top of all that, WAZER also periodically holds project competitions around a couple holidays throughout the year to really spur our employees’ senses of imagination and creativity.
With the July 4th Holiday also comes one of our biggest and most unusual competition events. Before our employees depart for the long weekend, WAZER throws a BBQ Themed cut day where we cut eccentric creations from meat! Our engineers whipped up this special machine just for this momentous occasion, so you shouldn’t EVER try to cut any food in your WAZER at home. Once the meat masterpieces are cut out, we throw them on the grill and enjoy the fruits of our labor.
Not only does WAZER inspire originality in the workplace, it makes the entire journey of creation an enjoyable one.
