Wam Update: Version 1.5
WAM, our web-based platform for preparing designs for cutting on WAZER. WAM is getting a significant upgrade. These changes will automatically appear the next time you use the software. Version 1.5 includes a combination of new features, functional additions, and bug fixes.
WAM V1.5 WHAT'S NEW
Functional additions
Zoom: This feature update allows you to zoom in and out of the virtual cut bed
● Zoom in and out within the virtual cut bed to better position objects.
● Clearly see your cut and path selection.
● Allows users to precisely place the manual tabs.
● Zoom extents feature helps reset the virtual cut bed.
● Zoom in and out by scrolling or by using the onscreen buttons.
Select all: This feature adds the ability to select all cut files on the virtual cut bed.
● Activated by pressing ctrl-a
● Also activated by clicking the select all button icon on the top right of the virtual cut bed.
● Selects all files on the current cut bed.
No cut: This feature allows the users to select cut files as reference only for placement. This is helpful for positioning your cuts on material you have already cut.
● This feature can be selected from the “cutting path” menu.
● When this feature is selected the cut file is not enabled for cut.
Cut Compensation: To improve Wazer’s cut performance this feature adjusts the cut speed based on the cut profile.
● This is auto enabled and increases the cut time by about 3% on an average file and produces cleaner cuts.
Bug Fixes
Max positions to x and y: There is now a max X and Y location in the “scale and position” menu to prevent your cut from being placed outside of the cut bed.
Increased positional precision: The cut file placement now has a positional precision of 0.1mm. Previously, it was set at 1mm.
Decimal places: The tab size now has a resolution of .001 in / 0.01 mm. The previous resolution was .01 in / 0.1mm.
Machine Freeze: The machine freeze issues are now resolved.
