High Pressure System Troubleshooting

The high pressure system is the heart of the WAZER water jet. Water pressure must be maintained above a certain threshold in order to cut successfully. If you experience any pressure issues or leaks, refer to the steps below to locate and address the root cause. More details can be found here.

  • Conduct a “HP pump“ output check

    • Does the motor turn on?

  • Conduct a “Clutch“ output check

    • Are you able to hear a clicking noise indicating the clutch is engaging?

    • Do you see the "HP Valve" LED turn on on the controller?

  • Conduct several rounds of “nozzle purge“, check the following observations one by one

    • Is the pressure relief valve leaking?

    • Is the needle in the pressure gauge stable?

    • Is the needle of the high pressure gauge in the green zone?

    • Is the needle of the high pressure gauge overshooting the green zone?

    • Is the needle of the low pressure gauge stable?

    • Does the needle of the low pressure gauge stays in the green zone?

    • Is there a grinding or squeaking noise when the clutch engages?

    • Are there any visible leaks in the high pressure system?

  • Conduct a orifice stream health check.
