WAZER Pro Break-in Oil Change
WAZER Pro uses a triplex plunger pump to pressurize water during cutting. The oil in the pump crank cases needs replacement after the first 50 hours of use, then every 300 hours after that. During the first 50 hours of operation (break-in period), impurities start to accumulate in the oil. These impurities will result in premature wear if not removed in time.

Procedure
The water pump of WAZER Pro is located at the bottom, i.e. pump section.
Before the oil change, if the pump has been sitting idle for more than an hour, it is recommended to agitate the sediment in oil by running a “water level set up”.
Start by disconnecting the AC power cord
Then shut off the water input into the WAZER Pro
Remove the middle panels by simply lift them up and out.
Then move onto the bottom panels.
Use the Philips Screw Driver to loosen the retention fasteners on the bottom panels
Then pry the bottom panels open. Leave the panel swang open onto the ground.
Then move to the front panel.
Use a 4mm allen key to remove the bottom anchor bolts. holding the bottom part of the front panel
One bolt is located to the left side of the front panel, the other is one the right side.
After removing the bottom anchor bolts, carry on removing the top anchor bolts.
Again, one on the left, one on the right side.
After 4 bolts are removed, the front panel can be slid out.
Pop the high pressure gauge out from its gasket holder. Lay the high pressure gauge safely onto the ground.
Locate the bottom drain plug on the water pump. Make sure there is no oil mark around it. Take this opportunity to check the conditions of the Low pressure plumbings.
Slide in the oil pan under the pump. Make sure the oil can pass through the slot on the bottom plate and reach the oil pan.
Use a 17mm wrench or socket to loosen the oil drain plug.
Remove the oil breather vent cap for a quicker drain.
After the oil flow is stopped, put back the oil drain plug. Fasten it until tight.
Insert the funnel hose into the fill port. It is also the breather vent cap port.
Make sure the end of the funnel fill hose is fully seated into the pump.
Open the included replacement oil, pour it into the funnel in a controlled manner.
The oil in your accessory kit may be different from what is shown in the picture.
For the spec of recommended oil types, please refer to our website on the same topic.
Fill the oil till the meniscus reaches the middle of the oil viewing window. In total 1 Liter (1.06 Qt) of replacement oil is expected to be filled.
Check there is no leak from the oil drain port.
Put back the breather vent cap onto the fill port.
Slide the front panel back into the machine
Put back the high pressure gauge back into its gasket holder.
Put back the top anchor bolts first
Then put back the bottom anchor bolts.
Warning: For your and others’ safety, never operate WAZER Pro without the front panel.
Put back the bottom panels, fasten the retention bolts too tight.
Put back the middle panels.
Conduct a high pressure system check by going through a “nozzle purge” “tank cleaning ”or “water level set up”

Next Time
After the 1st oil change, every subsequent oil change interval is 300 hours. Regular oil change can help to maximize the life of your WAZER Pro. If left unchanged, oil in the water pump can become thick and gummy by the accumulation of impurities. At that stage, its lubrication property will be negatively affected and component wear will be imminent.
